I haven’t had much poetry in my head lately, but maybe you’ll find some fiction going up on the website throughout the year. hope all’s well. june goes into july, again. a poem about how summers always seem to taste like smoke. (or how I can’t stop writing the same thing over and over). This one is different than every other one I’ve posted— I’ve actually published this one in Mosaic Magazine 2022-2023, which is an undergraduate art and literary magazine at Ohio State University! It’s nice to have some validation that I might be able to actually do something with this writing poetry thing. Now I just need to prove it to myself with my fiction haha. Poem in honor of when I used to wander around campus in the middle of the night. Personifying a city after spending a couple days straight awake is probably healthy, right? right?
