(Poems) – no driver – 95 words

I’m in a car and I’m sitting in the middle of a street / I try to push the pedals / the car doesn’t move / I don’t understand / the car isn’t moving and the cars behind me are honking / I try to shift the car between every gear / but none of them matter / so I look up at the mirror / and I’m not there / all I see is the back seat / I’m not there / there’s no one to drive the car / the car isn’t going to move / I’ll never move from this space / the car doesn’t move
